Well, it's about time I blogged. Been busy with schoolwork lately. Tutorials after tutorials, they just keep coming. So far school's been fun, though some things taught are hard to understand. ): Fasting month is finally here. Long gone were the days when I really had to push myself to the limits, fasting while training in NS.
It has been so long since I've exercised. Yesterday, the UNCOOL gang went to SRC to pay badminton. We booked two courts and played for 2hrs plus. I'm thankful to have great nonsensical friends in uni. :D
Am currently in the library typing this. BS205 just ended 10 min ago. Lab was ok as we went through questions similar to than of A-level math. The only problem I had was trying to figure out what is what, which formula to use for which situation and stuff. The lecturer was alright although i had trouble trying to catch his accent. LOL!

Meet the geek.
I was just randomly clicking on the list of modules to see if there was any availability when i chanced upon one with just one place left. Held my breath while i clicked the 'add' button. Luck was on my side as I managed to get that module. Now, what module did I register for? Apparently it was 'How computer works'. That's so -.- . HAHA!

Zzzz..
BS102 was -.- cause the lecturer came in late. Those who came earlier tried to 'chop' the best seats in the lt, only to find them occupied. Students here are really kiasu la.
HE191 was enjoyable though my mind drifted somewhere while trying to understand the basic concepts of econs.
Highlight for BS104 lecture was about how coconut drink can make your skin radiant. The lecturer was so semangat telling us about all the benefits of drinking it.
Went to popyes at the flyer with Pyrox peeps and chilled till 11+. (:
This morning, I tried registering for electives together with Shumin. She got it but I didn't. Another -.- moment for me.
Just completed Econs tut. I think I love econs la. (Actually I'm just psycho-ing myself la) HAHA!
I really need to do lots of reading up cause at this rate, I seriously CMI la.

):
Being a first year student has it's disadvantages. We're left with very few options to choose for our electives. There were 0 vacancies for most modules even before our window to choose and register our them was opened. And yes, I'm stuck with only Economics! Yay! Haha!
Yesterday was my first day in NTU. Met Shumin at Boon Lay MRT, joined the SUPER long bus queue, alighted at SBS bus stop and waited, and waited and waited for Kitty. Apparently someone doesn't know how to get to LT 20 from her hall. Tsk tsk. Haha! Once we met up, we had to walk back to SBS to fetch her friend who happens to not know her way as she didn't attend any foc. That's a valid excuse unlike Kitty's. She, well, just doesn't know her way! HAHA!
We were just on time for our first lecture of our university life, BS 103. (: But other students just had to come late. Nak buat grand entrance katekan. Haha! First lecture was alright as it was A level stuff. I'm surprised I can still remember bits and pieces of chemistry, even after 2 yrs of nothingness. Haha!
We had a school tour after our lecture which I felt was unnecessary as our ogls had done well in showing us the important libraries/canteens/whatnots during sbs camp.
Went home and waited for 7pm where 5982568276 other people including me logged into the supid star system to try to register for modules. No luck with German or other modules so I guess I'll just have to try again next semester. ):
Going to go through my econs notes later on in the afternoon.

100th pos
Happy National Day! Happy 21st FY!
Kevin and Emily have such an interesting life as life partners! Just take a quick look at their blog. I pray that mine will be as interesting as theirs, maybe even more. Just so you know, they're the couple I met while at Gili Trawangan. (:
School's going to start real soon and thus I reluctantly (I'm very lazy to step out of the house during a lazy Sunday afternoon) made my way to Popular at West Coast Plaza to get some stationery for school. Frankly, I'm really looking forward to school. I've met a group of awesome people during FOC, some of whom are in the same tutorial group.

That's us all at the end of a 5 days camp. Eh, do you see what I see? HEE HEE!
I went for the Freshmen Welcome Ceremony at Nanyang Auditorium on 060809. We were given a goodie bag each which contained a windbreaker with the school's name and logo printed onto it, a very useful student handbook, map of the school and a torchlight. Yes, a torchlight. You must be wondering why in the world, of all things, NTU decides to give us each a torchlight. Apparently, NTU has this tradition where they'll make the Freshies don the graduation robe in preperation for the recital of the NTU Honour Pledge and the Light-Up Ceremony. Thereafter, we were entertained my student performances. But what many of us were looking forward too was the refresments at the end of the ceremony. (:

O.S
For the love of all things old school, I am going to ditch my Panasonic Lumix FZ-18.
Haha! No la, I'm not so mean to do that especially when it has served me well for these past 2 years. (: But yes, I will be buying a Zorki 4 once I get my August allowance, and at the same time, save up for a DSLR. For those interested, this is how a Zorki 4 looks like. It comes with a nice brown lether case. Now, what more can one ask for?

post camp
Qadeemul Kanaz camp, a collaboration between NTUMS and Perbayu was a success. You can see that the whole team put in lots of effort as the freshies (us) enjoyed ourselves. I'm glad I was able to attend the camp. Being part of Belo Blues, we had the opportunity to be, erm, belo just like our facilitators (Syimah and Ashraf). I doubt they'll ever read this boring blog of mine. Nonetheless, I'd like to thank them once more for making our time in BB a giler-giler one!
Now, there is a sudden increase in number of malay friends I have. (:
I can't wait for school to start!!
